About Us
Global Animal Certification is a worldwide organization dedicated to improving access to mental health care through professional, compliant animal-assisted intervention documentation.
Our Commitment to Global Mental Health Support
Global Animal Certification provides essential services to improve access to mental health support by bridging the gap between clinical evaluation and legal assistance animal rights. We provide professional evaluation letters and certificates designed to be recognized worldwide and in full compliance with FHA, ADA, ACAA, and international EU regulations.
Beyond documentation, we offer a curated selection of premium, comfy recognition gear specifically engineered to facilitate seamless public access while prioritizing the maximum comfort and physical well-being of your animal. Our goal is to empower individuals to live and travel with their assistance animals with complete peace of mind, backed by a global network of licensed clinicians and high-quality support gear that ensures you and your animal are welcomed everywhere you go.
Addressing a Global Need
Global Animal Certification specializes in the United States, Canada, and Europe, focusing on clinical services for individuals seeking animal-assisted interventions as part of their treatment planning. The need for accessible care has never been more urgent:
- In the United States: In 2021, 19.1% of adults experienced mental illness, representing 1 in 5 adults.
- In Europe: Approximately 84 million people across the EU—roughly 1 in 6 citizens—suffer from mental health problems, according to the World Health Organization and OECD.
Our Mission: Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the millions of people worldwide who may have limited options for specialized care.
Expertise and Compassion
We care deeply about supporting individuals with mental health conditions and improving access to care. While the legitimacy of emotional support animals is sometimes questioned, experts have long touted the effectiveness of animals on mental health. We work to resolve common misconceptions regarding who can prescribe assistance animal letters and the tangible benefits they provide to those in need.
Professional Evaluation: We specialize in connecting individuals with licensed mental health professionals who can evaluate their need for Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and Psychiatric Service Animals (PSAs).
Removing Barriers: Our mission is to remove barriers to mental health treatment by providing a streamlined, compliant, and compassionate service.
Global Compliance: With a network of licensed clinicians across the United States, Canada, and Europe, we ensure that every client receives a legitimate evaluation in full compliance with federal, state, and international regulations.

Get your Letter in 3 Easy Steps
Start your free screening
Start a pre-screening.
Your screening is assessed by a licenced professional
A licensed professional will evaluate your screening results and issue a letter if you qualify.
Receive your ESA letter and enjoy the benefits
If approved, you can use your letter for housing, airlines, hotels forgetting about extra pet fees, and enjoy all the other benefits of it.
Emotional Support Animals (ESA)
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) provide comfort, companionship, and therapeutic benefits to individuals suffering from mental or emotional conditions. They are prescribed by a licensed mental health professional (LMHP) as part of a treatment plan.
Unlike pets, ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Act, meaning housing providers must make reasonable accommodations for them, even in buildings with "no pets" policies.
Housing Rights
Protected under the Fair Housing Act, allowing you to live with your ESA in most housing types without paying pet fees or deposits.
Emotional Wellness
Provides essential therapeutic support for conditions like depression, anxiety, loneliness, and stress.
No Breed Restrictions
Housing providers cannot deny an ESA based solely on breed, size, or weight restrictions that typically apply to pets.
Psychiatric Support Animals (PSA)
Psychiatric Service Animals (PSAs) are a type of service dog specifically trained to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Unlike Emotional Support Animals, PSAs are recognized as service animals under the ADA and have broader access rights, including air travel and public spaces.
PSAs perform specific tasks directly related to their handler's disability, such as interrupting anxiety attacks, reminding handlers to take medication, or providing deep pressure therapy during moments of distress.
Mental Health Support
Assists with conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder by mitigating symptoms through trained tasks.
Travel Freedom
Permitted to travel in the cabin of aircraft free of charge on domestic and international flights under the Air Carrier Access Act.
Task-Trained
Specifically trained to perform tasks that alleviate the disability, distinguishing them from emotional support animals.
Service Animals
Service animals are dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability.
Under the ADA, service animals are working animals, not pets. They undergo rigorous training to ensure they can perform complex tasks and behave appropriately in public environments.
Accessibility Rights
Full public access rights to almost anywhere the general public is allowed, including restaurants, stores, and hotels.
Critical Alerts
Can be trained for seizure alert, diabetic alert, allergen detection, and other life-saving notification tasks.
Physical Assistance
Assist with mobility, retrieving items, opening doors, and providing physical stability for handlers.
